At Science Minded, we provide evidence-based Early Childhood Professional Development and Parent Education grounded in developmental science.

We work with Early Childhood Educators, Leadership Teams, Early Learning Centres, Parents and Families to deliver practical, relationship-based support through:

  • Professional Development Workshops

  • On-the-floor Coaching

  • Sensory play Incursions

  • Circle of Security Parenting Programs

  • Online Learning

Everything we offer is built on the same foundation: the science of child development, emotional regulation, attachment and temperament.

Our goal is to translate complex developmental research into practical strategies that educators and parents can actually use in everyday life. In classrooms. In homes. In the hard moments that matter most.

Whether you're a Centre Director looking for meaningful Professional Development for your team, an Educator wanting deeper insight into children's behaviour and emotional needs, or a Parent trying to better support your child, Science Minded offers warm, evidence-based guidance grounded in real-world practice.

ABOUT ME

DR SIOBHAN KENNEDY-COSTANTINI

Meet Dr Siobhan Kennedy-Costantini: A child development specialist, researcher and Circle of Security facilitator with a PhD in developmental psychology and over a decade of experience in understanding children's development.

Science Minded started as a way to make developmental research more accessible to parents. Over time, early childhood educators began reaching out too. They wanted professional learning that went deeper than behaviour management techniques. Learning that actually helped them understand the children in their care.

That's what Siobhan does now. She works with early learning centres, leadership teams and families across Queensland and Northern NSW. The approach is always the same: warm, practical, research-informed and grounded in real life.
